During the public exhibitions of the Shroud in 1998 and 2000, this website received many e-mails asking for information about professional tours going to Turin during the event. In an effort to provide the viewers of this site with the most complete information, I included a listing of professional travel organizations that were planning tours during the exhibition. The response was very positive and travel agents and travelers alike reported that the tours were a complete success.
We are including this feature again for the Year 2010 Exhibition and are offering a free listing to professional travel organizations, which can include contact information, website link, and a brief overview of the tours being offered. The listings will run until the close of the Year 2010 Exhibition. St. Catherine of Siena Parish Pilgrimage
We will be having a pilgrimage to Italy including the Shroud of Turin from April 13 to April 21, 2010. Our information is available at www.funcatholictravel.com
This is a parish pilgrimage (St. Catherine of Siena, Rialto, CA) but we ALWAYS love to travel with people from outside the parish. Our Spiritual Director, Fr. Steve Porter studied in Rome for seven years, and traveled extensively in Italy - he adds so much to our trips!
Departures are from Ontario, CA and Albuquerque, NM; Land packages with airline credits, are available, and we can help coordinate flights. The agency coordinating the travel is Catholic Travel Center, Burbank CA.

We are honored to be hosting a Pilgrimage to Italy on the occasion of the public viewing of the Shroud of Turin.
