DESCRIPTION: The fresco in the ceiling of the equipment maintenance room in the Royal Palace adjacent to the room where the Shroud was examined in 1978. This section of the palace was severely damaged in the fire of April 12, 1997. The fresco itself suffered fire, smoke and water damage.
