Mark Evans, STURP photographic team member, uses a Wilde Photomicroscope to create a series of photomicrographs (highly magnified photographs) of the Shroud. Photographs were taken of many landmark sites at various magnifications and distances and with varying lighting patterns. Several of these photomicrographs are now included on this website.
