Collegamento pro Sindone is a bimonthly periodical founded in 1986 thanks to the initiative of some laics, and to the willingness of P. Gilberto Frigo, O.F.M., responsible for Collegamento pro Fidelitate, a magazine of spirituality for nuns.

So Collegamento pro Sindone became the supplement of the mother magazine, both published by "Edizioni Giovinezza", that includes among its other published works the following books:

Collegamento pro Sindone was published regularly every two months (until the end of 2001) with an average of 60-64 pages. It contained high level articles of the world's most well known studies of the Shroud. The magazine had subscribers in every part of the world. Furthermore it included a survey entitled "Notizie Varie"(Various News), that informed the readers about all the activities related to the Shroud, both Italian and foreign, and signaled the telecasts and broadcasts, the articles in newspapers and in magazines, the published books, the videotapes, etc., with relative positive or negative comments. The last printed issue was in December 2001 and the information is now published on the Collegamento pro Sindone Website.

All the people who contribute to Collegamento pro Sindone (authors, translators, editors, etc.) lend their work completely free. To receive the magazine, readers are asked to pay a voluntary offering to help cover the overhead (paper, photocopiers, handling and shipping, etc.).
